GOW is a button masher in my opinion. wouldn't be shocked if critics say it's ps3 game of the year, but i'm not a critic. I'm a gamer. and as a gamer i think ModNation Racers is a better overall game in my opinion.

SSBB sucks then .

SSBB has way more strategy than GOW does. if you button mash in SSBB then you're an idiot and will get owned in seconds (even by the cpus if they're on level 9). GOW on the other hand you could use the same button strategy over and over again and the cpu's would always lose to you even on titan difficulty. besides, according to the reviews they toned down the non buttonmashing parts to make them more simplistic. not to mention that SSBB has WAY more replay value than GOW does.

GOW is a good game, but i still think that ModNation Racers is the better overall game due to the nearly infinite replay value and the free UGC. and not to mention you can have you're own soundtrack play during the game if you dislike the EPIC soundtrack in the game.

SSBB is a C-stick masher. I pwn Level 9s and all I do is randomly mash the C-stick when attacking.

fair point, but you can choose to use a less cheap button if you want. where as for gof nearly every button can be spammed.

as for 3D dot hero, i'm going to wait till i've tried a demo of it. I was in the Beta of ModNation Racers, and that proved to me the MNR is everything i think it is. However, i don't know enough about 3D Dot hero yet to judge it.

I personally cant wait Im a sucker for kart racers and the fact that you will be able to create & share tracks put this game over the top for me I reserved mine at gamestop so I could get the Kratos racer. I also like the fact their is rumored to be able to link your psp n ps3 tracks So that would make me buying 2 copies one for ps3 n one for my pspgo cause if i can make tracks then take them with me Forget about it! LOL

Anyone know if the fixed the online lag?

I assume your talking about the beta? I would never judge how much lag is in a beta cause thats just what it is a BETA version

Weird how half of this thread is about gow3 being a button masher, and that's just not true. If you do titan mode and you're just mashing buttons and not stringing up awesome combos - you're screwed.

As for ModNation, the beta was really fun. I'll definitely be buying it, the only thing that annoyed me in the beta apart from the lag was the drifting - the camera angle went all weird and gave me a headache and I couldn't steer properly whilst drifting.

Same..I like the camera...This whole game looks like a win

I'm pumped for this game ^_^

I played the beta. I had some fun with it. I doubt I'll be buying this game, but it's pretty good.
